The New England Institute of Technology library will host an evening with the Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health, Dr. Michael Fine as he presents, 鈥淩eal Healthcare Reform.鈥�
As co-author with James W. Peters of the Nature of Health, A Study of Healthcare Services, Human Rights, Society, Technology, and Industry, Fine will read an excerpt entitled 鈥淒emented and Contracted鈥� followed by a presentation as well as a question and answer period.
Fine is also the author of The Zero Calorie Diet, which examines the culture of excess through the lens of fasting.
This lecture will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in聽the Media Presentation Theater at the college鈥檚 East Greenwich campus located at One New England Tech Blvd.
