Announcing our first graduates from the Welding Engineering Technology course!
Of the five students graduating, three of the students immediately began full-time welding jobs, and the two remaining students will be continuing their education at ÁùºÏ²ÊÖ±²¥tvb in the Mechanical Engineering program.
Kate Messer was hired by in Narragansett, RI and Wayne Conant was hired by , in Providence, RI. Both students took part in an internship at their respective companies and were hired on as a result. David Bustin was hired by a major Department of Defense contractor as a Production Welder, while both Keith Chasse and Gagny Diawara are furthering their education at ÁùºÏ²ÊÖ±²¥tvb in Mechanical Engineering Technology studies.
April is National Welding Month, according to one of ÁùºÏ²ÊÖ±²¥tvb’s welding instructors, Tim Kinnaman. Tim is the Deputy District 1 Director of New England and Montreal and also Chairman for Central MA and RI section of American Welding Society. For more information, visit .
