Joining the military was a turning point in my life. I learned many valuable skills, met some amazing people, and experienced a different kind of life. It gave me a unique perspective. I would not be where I am today without the experiences I gained from my time in the service.鈥�

Her goal is to work on the labor and delivery floor at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, CT., and earn her Certified Lactation Consultant certification (CLC) to help new moms. 鈥淚 want to build a presence within my local community along with my spouse, who works for the fire department.鈥�
