New England Tech welcomes students from around the world for our undergraduate programs. We offer a wide array of support systems specifically geared toward the needs and cultures of our international student community. Our Admissions Officers are very experienced in helping international undergraduate applicants submit the information needed for the admissions committee, as well as navigating through immigration paperwork needed to obtain a U.S. Student Visa.

    New England Tech’s International Student Office assists students in the following immigration requirements:

          • Issuance of I-20 Form to obtain an F1 visa
          • Curricular/Optional Practical Training application
          • Transfer procedures from other U.S. universities and colleges
          • Immigration and Change of Status
          • Immigration status
  • International Students

    New England Institute of Technology welcomes applications from international students. Currently, international students at the university represent 26 countries from Asia, Europe, the Caribbean Basin, North America, Central America, Africa and South America. The university offers a wide array of support systems specifically geared toward the needs and culture of the international community.

    International applicants must meet the  admission requirements. To apply to New England Tech, an applicant must submit an application online. Candidates for whom English is not their first language must demonstrate fluency in English. International applicants must submit the applicable application and registration fees. All information submitted to the university should be sent to the attention of the International Admissions Office via [email protected]. All international transcripts must be submitted to WES (World Education Services) for credential evaluations – the cost of WES services is the responsibility of the applicant.

  • Admission Requirements

    Applicants who are not United States Citizens, or Permanent Residents of the United States, are considered international applicants. International applicants must submit:

    1. Submit your application through the or through ÁùºÏ²ÊÖ±²¥tvb’s application portal – we have no preference between the two!
    2. Secondary school (high school) transcripts; if the transcript is not in English, the applicant must also submit a translated copy.
    3. English Proficiency – Students must meet English language proficiency requirements in one of the following ways:
      • Is a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada (not including Quebec), Cook Islands, Dominica, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, St. Kitts and  Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sweden, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, United Kingdom, and/or Zimbabwe.
      • Submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
      • Graduated, or is on track to graduate, from a foreign institution where the language of instruction for the secondary and/or post-secondary degree(s) was English.
      • Graduated, or is on track to graduate, from a U.S. accredited school abroad with English as the medium of instruction.
      • Graduated, or is on track to graduate, from a secondary school in the U.S. that he/she attended for a minimum of one year and that included at least one unit of college preparatory English.
      • Earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in the U.S. or has completed at least 12 or more credits at an accredited institution of higher education in the U.S.

    5. Applicants are also highly encouraged, though not required, to submit the following:
          • 2-3 Letters of Recommendation from teachers, employers, coaches, mentors, etc. who know both your academic abilities and personality
          • A 300-500 word open-topic essay
